Email privacy@raincheckagent.com and ask us to delete your account. Send it from the email address on your account if you can. Our Privacy Policy says:
We verify by confirming control of the email address on the account, and for sensitive requests by asking you to confirm details only the account holder would know.
What happens when you delete
From our Privacy Policy, Section 7:
1. Your account is immediately marked for deletion, you are signed out on all devices, and you cannot sign in again.
2. Any uncaptured payment authorizations are cancelled.
3. We pay out the face value of any RainDrops you still hold (Terms of Service §8.8).
4. After 30 days, we permanently remove identifying information from your account record – name if any, email, phone, username, profile photo, Google link, home location, and card display details.
What we keep, and for how long
Also from the Privacy Policy (Sections 6 and 7):
- Purchase, dispense, return, and transfer records — 7 years, anonymized after deletion. “After deletion these records are no longer linked to your identifying information.”
- Stripe customer identifier — 24 months after last transaction.
- Card fingerprint — 24 months after last transaction, and it “survives account deletion.”
- Contact details on an unsettled cash-out record — until the balance owed is paid. “If we owe you nothing, nothing is kept.”
- Terms of Service acceptance records — life of the business. These are append-only and contain “minimal personal information (identifier, timestamp, IP, user-agent).”
Everything else identifying you is removed 30 days after you request deletion.
RainDrops you gave to other people belong to them. Deleting your account does not reclaim them.
The full details are in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service (Section 8.8).
